Each day at the Renaissance Festival features full feasts. Dig into delicious old school eats like giant roasted turkey legs, steak-on-a-stake, hand-made chocolates and cinnamon-roasted almonds. Pubs throughout the shire serve beer and wine. The Pleasure Feast: "La Festa Italiana," which is offered 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. during regular Renaissance Festival hours and is $79.95, includes a festival admission ticket, a six-course Pleasure Feast, two hours of royal entertainment, a selection of beverages, a souvenir special edition “Pleasure Feast” goblet and a commemorative Pleasure Feast medallion. The Courses Antipasti — Course I: Pomodoro e Mozzarella: Plump ripe tomatoes & fresh milk mozzarella slices; Served with aromatic basil leaf, drizzled with Tuscan olive oil. Accompanied by clustered red grapes, Sicilian olives and Fontina cheese. Complimented by Focaccia bread. Insalata — Course II: Crisp iceberg lettuce mixed with hearts of Romaine, topped with fresh tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, provolone and gorgonzola cheeses. Tossed with a zesty Balsamic vinaigrette. Celebrazione de Minestra — Course III: Crème del Pomodoro: A rich cream of tomato soup, flavored with fresh basil. Served with a garlic asiago crostini. Tuscan Grill — Course IV: Marinara della Polpetta – Savory Meatballs in a succulent marinara sauce; Salsiccia Italiana – Homemade Italian sausage; Cousin Vicenzo’s Gamba di Tacchino- Festival signature dish; Giant smoked turkey legs. Piatto Principale Magnifico — Course V: Herb Crusted PRIME RIB served with; Gnocchi della Patata and Roasted Vegetables. Decadent Dolci — Course VI: Savory Ricotta Cheese filled Cannoli, with a luscious assortment of sinful Chocolate Petit Fours. Vegetarian option available with advance reservation. Course IV: Artichokes and Fava Bean; Course V: Vegetable Lasagna. There will also be beer, wine and iced tea aplenty along with 21st century eating utensils.
