Philadelphia’s Jill Scott may be best known as a two-time Grammy-winning neo-R&B singer, but Scott is also a published poet (her first volume, “The Moments, the Minutes, the Hours,” was released in 2005) and a film and television actress, appearing on the UPN series “Girlfriends” and in the 2007 Tyler Perry film, “Why Did I Get Married?”
