Concert promotions giant Live Nation have announced that Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, whose album “Raising Sand” landed on many music critics’ best albums lists for 2007, will perform at Phoenix's Dodge Theatre on Tuesday, July 1st. Tickets go on sale March 10.

Plant, best known as the lead singer for Led Zeppelin, and Krauss, a bluegrass fiddle virtuoso who has scored plenty of country hits, may on the surface seem to be a mismatched duo, but the two singers found common ground in their mutual love of old country, blues and folk. Their tune “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” won a Grammy earlier this month for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocal.

“Raising Sand” producer and talented musician in his own right, T-Bone Burnett, will open the show.

Tickets, $45 to $125, go on sale 10 a.m. March 10, at livenation.com, ticketmaster.com, the Dodge Theatre box office or by calling (480) 784-4444.
