ASU Herberger College announces '08-'09 season

Herberger College, the fine arts school at Arizona State University's Tempe campus, announced their 2008-2009 performing arts season Thursday.

A traditional mix of dance, theater, opera, guitar, organ and jazz, the season kicks off Sept. 19 and 20 with "ELINA’s LINEAge," a tribute to ASU Herberger College Dance faculty member Elina Moone. Other highlights include Phoenix drummer Dom Moio performing "Big Band Blast Off!" Oct. 16 with the ASU Concert Jazz Band, "Nunsense II: The Second Coming" Oct. 3-12 and "Don Coyote," a new play about an American and Mexican coyote working together on the Arizona/Mexico border, Oct. 24-26.
