Since NBC’s reality comedy competition “Last Comic Standing” concluded, comedian Kathleen Madigan has been working as a celebrity fashion commentator. She’s appeared on everything from E! to VH1 to Bravo. And she’s also bashing celebrity fashion choices in US Weekly.

“They just e-mail all the pictures over and you just type stuff and send it back,” Madigan says of her new gig. “They send you like 50 and you have to go through them all. It’s usually the same people. It’s like here’s Paris Hilton in another non-piece of clothing. Here’s the Olsen twins looking entirely too thin in whatever.”

Madigan says that Star Jones of “The View” is one of the worst-dressed celebrities.

“She definitely has some stuff in her closet that should be immediately thrown out or sent to some poor country and used as a tank,” she says. “Women who are too overweight and wear tight stuff, wow. I’m not that overweight and I wouldn’t wear that.”

The comedian recently lent her quick-witted expertise to E! during a special on the 101 worst fashion crimes.

“Those are fun to do because you go there and you just sit in the chair,” she says. “There’s a camera guy and an interview woman and whoever it is, they’re usually really fun. But the most fun is the country music channel because you get to sit there and make fun of country music videos. I like a little bit of country. I’m not totally opposed to it, but these videos, holy God ... Those guys are so much fun. They don’t care. They don’t take it seriously. They’re just fun.”

Madigan says she’s received some interesting job offers since “Last Comic Standing” wrapped.

“I guess I was the only one that ever did any political jokes,” she says. “Now I’m getting jobs at these (political) corporate events where the people before me are James Carville and Mary Maitland. I’m like ‘Ooh, don’t take me that seriously! ‘This is like some sort of serious conference. I’m a stupid comedian with 15 minutes of Bush jokes.”
