Guns Ní Roses concert canceled

Not surprisingly, the latest incarnation of Guns N Roses has imploded before the band could get to the Valley. One of the world's most popular (and volatile) bands in the late 80s and early 90s, GNR was on a comeback tour with lead singer Axl Rose fronting a new lineup.

But after the group's failure to show up for concerts in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Philadelphia caused small riots in those cities, Interscope Records announced Dec. 11 that the remainder of the group's tour including a Dec. 22 show at America West Arena has been canceled. Tickets will be refunded at points of purchase.
